What is Sea moss ?
Sea moss is a type of red algae also known as Irish moss (or Chondrus crispus). Sea moss is known as a superfood that contains 92 of the 102 essential minerals needed for the human body, including potassium, iron and calcium. It has been around for years and has been used as a thickening agent for stews, soups and smoothies. It is now popular for its powerful immune-boosting nutrients, rich natural minerals, high iron and antioxidants, making it an all-around immunity booster and weight-loss aid.
How do I use Sea Moss?
Typically sea moss is made into a gel that can be used in many different ways. Sea moss gel can be consumed on its own, added to stews, soup as well as smoothies as a thickening agent, and/or applied to skin and hair.
What is the Sea moss shelf life?
Raw or dry Sea Moss can last up to 1 year when stored in a dry and cool place. Sea Moss gel will last 3-4 weeks provided it is stored in a sealed container and is refrigerated. You can also freeze the Sea Moss gel for up to 6 months. Sea Moss gel should never be stored in pantries or in room-temperature locations.
How much Sea Moss can I consume in a day?
We recommend that 1-2 tablespoons of Seamoss be taken in a day.
Is Sea Moss safe for children, pregnant or breastfeeding individuals ?
Sea Moss is a natural product, however we do recommend you consult a licenced physician for children, pregnant and breastfeeding individuals.
How long will my order take?
